House of Fraser: Pandora Collection

As many of you know, House of Fraser is one of the country’s leading department stores selling an eclectic mix of high quality branded products. Therefore there’s no wonder why I felt a little surge of excitement when Susanna from the store contacted me with regards to their Pandora collection. I was asked to pick out a few of my favourite pieces from the site to feature on my blog.
Being such an iconic brand, I’m sure the majority of you fellow bloggers have heard of Pandora before. For those of you who have not, listen up!
Pandora offers women of all ages beautiful jewellery, expressing elegance and individuality most notably through their world famous charm bracelets, which really are perfect for life’s precious moments.
Admittedly, picking out just a few of my favourite charms and bracelets from the House of Fraser site was a difficult task in itself because I just wanted all of it! Not to mention the large amount of choice. But anyway , heres a selection of these Pandora bracelets by House of Fraser :

Sterling Silver Threaded Bracelet

This classic Pandora clasp bracelet is one of the collections most popular choices, and rightly so.  Simply start by adding charms and watch its unique personalised identity grow. I chose this bracelet from the site, as I think this piece is the ideal way to start off your Pandora collection.
It's the perfect way to accessorize any outfit, instantly adding that touch of elegance and femininity. It may seem like i'm being almost too gushy about this product; and really, if i could think of something to roughen up the edges about it, i would. However it really is just as good as it sounds.
House of Fraser also offer it in other colours such as black, as well as in sterling silver with a gold clasp, oxidised silver and not forgetting the 14 ct Gold version - admittedly a little out of my price range, but beautiful none the less.

Black Single Woven Leather Bracelet
I could express my love for this bracelet for hours. If you're into a more edgier, bohemian look then this in my eyes is perfect. I repeat perfect.
Wear it just on its own or with other bracelets. But what’s so alluring about this product is that with charms or not, it will still look great.
House of Fraser don't fail to disappoint, if black isn't your colour then they also offer the same model in Champagne, Grey, Red and Brown. Not to mention they also do double leather bracelets...
-Oh, one more thing (yes, yet again, I can't fault this product) a few of my guy mates wear this bracelet, and it does look really good. So ladies, if you're stuck on what to buy your man, don't forget  about this little beauty.

Sterling Silver and Turquoise Topaz Dangle Charm

This topaz dangle charm is just absolutely gorgeous. With it's upper crafted flower motif, completed with this beautiful round cut topaz evokes femininity. This charm would be perfect for adding a touch of class to any charm bracelet.

Sterling Silver Happy Charm
I can't help but smile at this charm, it's undoubtedly one of my favourites. I'm really into these quirky, culture inspired pieces. I think they just add that special little touch to any accessory or outfit.
If like me, you're into your symbolic jewellery and what not, I strongly advise you check out the House of Fraser pandora collection, they even sell the cutest Yin Yang charm.

Oxidised Sterling Silver Oval Charm

Finally, I picked this charm, as i think it's gorgeous. The detailing on the outside just gives it a somewhat unique, striking appearence. Having this charm would add that edge to any bracelet.

Orientalism ensued

Kimono-Primark...Yes i couldn't believe it myself
Blouse-Topshop
Skirt-Primark
Straw purse bag-Primark
Shoes-Jeffrey Campbell

I've always had a passion for colours and prints, so when i saw this kimono in Primark, it was a run-to-the-till purchase. Well, not quite but you get an idea for my excitment. It's perfect, and is definitely going to be a one of my major pieces for summer. Not to mention the versatility of how it can be worn- dressed up or down or to simply add interest to an all black outfit.
Anyway, I paired it with my flower print skirt as not only did i feel the colours were perfect against each other, but it also created a somewhat oriental look.
I think some lace Lita's would have gone perfectly with this outfit, but as my bank account isn't yet big enough my black will have to do.Sigh.

Today i found out i'm going to be in London at my styling course when the Olympics is on - Brilliant.
Also, i'm sorry for my 'in a mood' facial expression i seem to of adopted throughout these photo's, in the words of Alex Turner 'I'm not moody, it's just me face' haha.

A small pop of colour

Velvet applique loose blouse- used to be my Mum's
White lace flower blouse-H&M
PU Skirt-Ark
Boots-Ebay
Mint bag-Primark

I absolutely adore the different textures of these floral inspired blouses against each other, I think it works really well. I paired it with my p.u. skirt and boots. To complete the outfit and create a contrast against the somewhat dark colours, i added a pop of colour with this cute mint coloured bag. I'm so tempted to go back and get the pink version too, and they're only £6!. Primark you've done well.

Tonight i'm going to finish writing up my Design brief for textiles and then do not much else haha. Excited though, one of the books i ordered on different decorative fabric techniques has come - just call it keen, haha.

Finally the weather seems to of picked up, yay!

Print on Print

 Jumper - Carboot, 50p
Leggings-Topshop
Blouse-Topshop
Boots-Ebay
Necklace-Used to be my gran's (stylish women haha)
Sometimes i love to just go crazy with bold prints. I think the jumper and leggings work well together, through colour and through the fact they're quite a similar kind of block print.
I've had these boots for quite a while now, but i'm always so conscious of when i wear them because the heel/platform isn't exactly made out of the greatest material- The fact i ordered them from china for £20 odd could have something to do with it haha. But i love them lots nonetheless!
I decided to use my parents camera as i was starting to get sick of the consistent bad quality photo's my camera produces. ugh.

Gold chains and Animal prints

Furry threaded top- Clothes show live
animal print maxi skirt- Primark
Gold chain necklace-Primark

Today has been awfully tiring, as i went to see Kanye West and Jay-Z on their Watch The Throne tour last night, -which can i say, was absolutely f*cking amazing- and didnt get back till gone 2 in the morning. Not so great when you have to be up at 7:30.
Anyway, I love love love this skirt. The animal prints across it make it perfect for this season. I paired it with my black furry threaded top as i felt that it went perfectly, whilst creating animalistic type textures? - If that makes any sense, haha. In terms of accessories, I wore my gold chain necklace as i love gold and animal print together in an outfit, theres something so alluring about it.

Simplistic bohemian

Scarf-Primark
Oversized knitted top-Topshop
Matte leggings-Miss selfridge
Necklace-Primark
JC Litas
Bag- Don't know?

Okay, so today i attended the open day at Leeds College of art, so i thought a simplistic bohemian style outfit would be perfect for the occassion. I kept my top and legwear simple so as to draw attention to the scarf and my beautiful bag- which i'm in love with. I couldn't believe it when i found it just hidden away in the cupboard. It's definitely going to be a key piece for my summer wardrobe!

So I finally got a pair...

EEEP! So after about 2 years of lusting over them, i am now a proud owner of a pair of JC litas. I'd been sitting on the fence for a while, debating whether or not to due to the price, and whether they were actually comfortable to wear or not. However after getting many positive responses on how they were so easy to walk in and how comfortable they were, i decided to go ahead and make a purchase - and i'm so glad i did!
ALSO, last night i got a place on the short fashion styling course in summer at London College of Fashion, i'm literally so excited!

Hypnotize

Tie dye cross crop top-Topshop
Vintage levi acid wash denim jacket
p.u. panel hotpants-Topshop
Necklaces-Topshop/ebay

What i wore to go into town for a quick'ish shop- which consisted of spending nearly £300 in 2 hours. I havent yet decided if that was a clever move or not, and i can't really justify it with any other reason other than i needed new clothes....i didn't need them, i just wanted them. Haha, oh well, i got some wonderful new pieces; i may do a post on my purchases, if not then they'll be in future outfit posts!
I wore this tie dye type acid wash crop top with my denim jacket as i think the effects and colours on both fabrics compliment each other really well- + lately i'm a sucker for resist dying. I then paired it with my hot pants to create quite a grungy look.
Tonight i'm going out for a meal at Wagamama's with my daddy-o, and then picking my sister up who is returning from Paris. Never thought i'd say this but i'm looking forward to seeing her! haha
