A Not So Guilty Little Haul...

The title says it all, I'm really not feeling guilty. This is partly due to the fact i've been working extra shifts through these holidays (which i've concluded will also make up for the spent money that was quickly, smoothly and painlessly-not even a second thought- removed from my bank account, come pay day) and also because these purchases are quite honestly beautiful. If I'm going down to London I need to have great outfits as well as the $$ right ?!...right.

Glitter Socks & Turtle Neck: Urban Outfitters
Despite lusting over these glitter socks for a while, i'm one of those people who is extremely reluctant to spend money on the little, yet significant pieces that can make an outfit, e.g. hoisery, and accessories; often going backwards and forwards to the stand in the store until I decide that I can't be bothered buying them (this has become a never ending cyle of regret everytime I go shopping,  perpetuated by my own cba'ness and adverse to spending money on such things). But now I can finally say, socks and chunky sandals here I come!...
Being an obsessive sartorial hoarder of any garment which posesses a turtle neck, I'm continuously on the lookout for the perfect top (despite probably already having 7 other look-a-likes in my wardrobe). When I saw this in UO it was pretty much love at first sight; with it's somewhat sporty/'gymming it' aesthetic and perfect material it couldn't not be a new edition to my wardrobe. Admittedly, already owning Topshops lycra version, I much prefer this one. (They also do it in other colours- black, white, ect.).

Leather Effect Skirt in Maroon : Zara

Being a lover of leather, midi skirts and vampy shades, this skirt is what I like to call 'a God send'.
(The UO turtle neck looks great with it too)

White Quilted Top with Embellished Neck: Zara
Given the pre-established White Trend for S/S'13 is defintely in the run up as being one of my favourites, I couldn't not leave the store without this beauty. With it's quilted center front and side front panels adorned in rose etchings, complete with an embellished neck make it truly perfect, and if I do say so myself, give it a designer quality.

Short Jacquard Cardigan: Zara

Dreamy, oh so dreamy.

Before I finish this post, I'd just like to apologise (again) for being a terrible blogger.

Have you made any amazing purchases recently?

  10. Oooooo! I love these choices. I really want to try to add more "edgy" clothes to my closet. I like dressing girly but adding studs and black nail polish to equal it out. Great post and I'm jealous of all your purchases.
