Tartan

Tartan double breasted jacket/blazer- Charity shop

Before i start apologising for the little blogging i have been doing, i first want to apologise for the terrible quality of these photo's- It was raining earlier, so i decided to wait; of course i forgot how it's started going dark much earlier now- That combined with the fact i'm in need of a decent camera.
On a similar note, the regularity of my outfit posts has been terrible. I've just been so busy with school work, and after being predicted A* in my art overall, i'm determined to make sure i get it. It's also due to the fact that i feel i can blog much better when i'm always buying clothes; however right now i'm trying to save for a trip to London at beginning'ish of November (If anyone wants to meet contact me!) so i can go on a crazy-much needed- shopping spree.

Anyway, paired with the scarf this beautiful jacket just reminds me of the Alexander McQueen fall 2006 collection (think tartan dresses and what not). I saw it in a charity shop for £3 i think it was? and literally had to have it; especially after lusting over the tartan that was showcased by various designers on the runways for a/w'12. Whats beautiful about it is the cut, and the photo's definitely don't do it justice (that and my awkward poses). It is a double breasted jacket, and what you've probably already realised is i've buttoned it up wrong....i did it on purpose, as i loved the shape and style it created. Personally, i think it works well :)

Black on Black

Blue printed shirt-Blue rinse
Hand threaded overtop- got it from Clothes show live
P.u. skater skirt-Ark
Black faux fur coat-Topshop
Creepers-Underground

Just a quick outfit post!
I rather like this outfit, lots of black. And as you all probably know, black is back for A/W'12, hooray!
If you're going to wear all black, i think it's important to incorporate and combine different textures to add interest; so I paired my black threaded top *thing* (don't really know how to describe it) with my p.u. skirt, and I think it  works rather well!
....And as i sit here listening to Kid Cudi, doing this post i literally can't think of anything else to write.
Sorry for this rubbish post, this week has taken it out of me.

First day back

 Tweed blazer- Rokit
White shirt-Charity shop
AA disco pants
Creepers-Underground
Necklaces-Topshop

Excuse the face, I'm sat here thinking just how rough i look; but it was my first day back and now my body feels exhausted and drained.
I decided to wear my tweed blazer-another one of my bricklane purchases- to smarten myself up as i am forever getting told off about the way I dress for sixth form. Me and smart formal business attire don't mix. Just no.
I love this blazer so much, especially with it's velvet collar. It's perfect for A/W'12, and for £25 i couldn't complain. I paired it with my new white shirt and AA disco pants- yes i finally decided to fork out and purchase them....whilst being in Paris. It was rather strange going into the store there, more old women shop there as opposed to the more younger generation...
Onto another fashion related topic, I recieved an email back last night saying that i had got onto the team at Leeds Fashion Show, yay!

Childish behaviour

Dungarees- Rokit
White blouse- Charity shop
Creepers-Underground
(I felt i looked too rough to look at the camera)

Okay, so first of all I apologise for not blogging in ages; it's been that long it actually feels kind of strange writing this...
I've just been so caught up with things, and found it difficult to try and blog. But now i'm back! Over these holiday's I got my A-level results, - 2 A's and 2 B's which i wasnt expecting at all, so that was all good (will be resitting one of those B's though haha). And then i had the fun of going to Leeds fest, which was absolutley amazing-despite being seriously ill afterwards, that ill it definitley wasnt self inflicted by alcohol haha.
I got these dungarees when i went down to London for my course at LCF (which again, was amazing). It was my first time in Rokit and i wish i'd had more time to spend in there.
I've been wearing them a lot recently, i'm actually obsessed. They're such a fun item of clothing, they make me feel all childish and playful, I love it. I paired them with my white blouse, to create a simple yet cute look.
